The club have invested a lot in Boggers over the years and have consistently backed him - to the point of releasing Al Habsi and flogging Jussi which is one hell of a vote of confidence. That said they probably did it to save on the wages.
Boggers seems to have confidence crises and I imagine that after that cockup he'll be at an all time low. So would dropping him make it worse or better? Personally I think he should be dropped so he has time to man up and concentrate on his game and winning his place back.

But do you think he will be dropped? Of course you don't.

No he'll probably play "to get his confidence back"

I was going to say "to put it behind him" but that's probably not appropriate given the circumstances.

Brilliant response!  As good as a baseball player who had hemorrhoid surgery, and said "I've put my troubles behind me!" (True story).

Didn't Jussi make the same howler when he was with us?

I'm pretty sure I remember him doing the same although it's a good while back.
