Nearly every single one of them are twats, if they were playing in my back garden I'd shut the curtains.

I won't be supporting those over paid tossers in Brazil, anyway.

I'll be a German.

There has to be a decent team in there somewhere, but although I know this is a provisional squad and some will be axed, it's still underwhelming and not especially adventurous - too many has-beens and not enough wannabes.
England are currently ranked 15th in the world and TBF that squad seems to be a fair reflection of where we're at.

Hipster - who do you think should be included who hasn't been?

Glad Sterling's in he's been excellent for Liverpool and if he continues to develop could be a big player for us in 2016 (which is what we should be focused on).

Complete joke that Cleverly is in the squad, he's shown time and time again he doesn't have enough. He needs to be taken ou t of the spotlight for a bit because his confidence must be getting battered.

I'd rather see Andy Carroll in there than Defoe or Lambert, gives a really good alternative option if we're chasing a game.

Phil Bardsley, Charlie Adam, Darren Fletcher and Steven Fletcher.

Chris Smalling seems to have totally lost the plot and was a useless liability in the CL. Carroll is a fair shout if he's fit - always good to have a plan B and he did well for England last time out.
There are fair few that don't inspire though.

Agreed about Smalling, but IMO both him and Phil Jones need to play CB every time they play now. Neither are RBs and it's only stunting their development to play them there. Both would have been better off staying at Fulham or Blackburn to play their favoured position and develop every week.

It'll be too hot for us, that'll be the excuse when they don't win a game.

They'll win the first game, which will send the press and fans into meltdown predicting a tournament win.

They'll then lose the second game and limp through with a poor draw in the third. "We did what we needed to do"

They'll lose in the last 16 after someone gets sent off "wrongly"

ENGERRRRLUNNNDD.

I agree about Sterling. He has really got his act together at Liverpool. Tom Cleverly has done absolutely NOTHING to justify his inclusion.

Smalling, Wellbeck and Cleverley were selected because of their good form with the best club in England, Manchester United. One would have thought that was fairly obvious.

Oh, wait - it's 2014, not 2013...

Why in defense has he picked 3 left backs, 3 right backs and only 2 centre backs?????????

What a fucking awful strike force we have, if Defoe and Lambert are two of our top strikers that we have in the country then we may aswell not bother.
