I showed her my history books in my bedroom (Fnaaar!) and she was stunned.
She didn't have a clue.
It's just not taught in their schools. But, to be honest, if it was us, would it be any different....?
Her Dad wasn't too impressed when I went over there and started asking about it.

They invaded the SW coast of Scotland and displaced the indigenous Picts and the immigrant Angles and Britons in southern Scotland. Some semblance of unity in Scotland finally happened when Kenneth 1st took the throne in 843.
But the Scots were a Hibernian tribe originally.
