It doesn't matter who we play as long as we win.

I'm hoping for Stockport County at home. Imagine that!

Yeh gripping! Saw something similar when I was a misbehaving lad and my dad made me watch some paint dry!!

I would like one of the relegated clubs at home, not fussed which one.

Depends on how our "new look" team is shaping up. As we've done some transfers early the players should be settled in so if they are playing well I'd like to play the promotion contenders early doors so we can catch them cold and steal a march.
If the signings are shit and we aren't looking so good then it might be better to play the rubbish teams early doors to buy some time.

Id like one of the promotion favourites, baptism of fire - if we manage to batter a 'good' team, rest should be plain sailing all the way back to the prem.

we seem to up our game too when we play the better teams.

I just hope we perform better in pre-season than last year. Starting the season without a single win doesn't inspire confidence.

I just want to win the first three games. Encouragement sweetens labour.

Bolton travel to Watford on opening day

Bolton Wanderers will open the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship season with an away game against Watford.

The opening fixture of the season will take place at Vicarage Road on Saturday 9 August.

Wanderers’ second league fixture of the season will see Nottingham Forest visit BL6 on Saturday 16 August, in what will be the first competitive league fixture at Macron Stadium.

Three days later Bolton then face Middlesbrough at Macron Stadium in the first midweek league fixture of the new season.

The traditional Boxing Day fixture will see Bolton host neighbours Blackburn Rovers at Macron Stadium, whilst the final game of the 2014 calendar year will see Bolton travel across the Pennines to face Huddersfield Town.

Wanderers’ opening fixture of 2015 is a home game against Leeds United on Saturday 10 January.

Bolton will wrap up the season with a repeat of last season’s final fixture, with Birmingham City due at Macron Stadium on Saturday 2 May, 2015.

Finish with Birmingham at home again - I hope we can relegate them this time as well - certainly makes it interesting
