A good rate of return for a Midfielder when compared to the dead shots we have had in front of goal in the last few years.Of the top of my head,Blackburn away 2-1 dec 2011,Liverpool January 2012,Blackpool 2-2 Stoke 2012,plus he won a pen v Villa 60 seconds after that twat Warnock had scored for Villa.Off the top off my head when we were in the Championship Wolves Away last minute 2-2,Ipswich H lost 1-2,Hull home won 4-1.
Injuries probably not done him any favours but I'd say he gets around the 7 Mark when compare to our forwards who can't get double figures.
Why would you prefer Pratley in centre Midfield.Id have to look up his stats but I like him on his day he's a game winner,although I agree he can go missing. A midfield of Garvan,Mavies CYL n Spearing sounds better to me than Medo Spearing,Pratley CYL.

He could have a "goal a game" record for all it matters - if he only plays five games a season, that's only five goals......

Mavies does not only play less than half the games in a single season, when he does he goes missing for 70 minutes, overrated ponce.

DF is staying put, at least (in my opinion) till May and I wouldn't be surprised if they give him a new deal before christmas. ED and PG were at Leeds and clearly happy with what they saw or they would have acted during the international break. They didn't and I don't think they will now. As long as DF works with no money and keeps the wage bill coming down they won't give a damn about the fans feelings. We're irrelevant to them. The corporate sponsors and Sky matter, not the mugs who buy actual tickets and actually attend games.
