If I'm not mistaken,the English nurse was still sacked,because she was found to have been stealing drugs.

Pissed off that you can take the time and effort to donate blood then some knob contaminates it with obviously no thoughts about the ramifications.
Should be locked up for a very long time if found guilty IMO!

I just don't get why someone would do this though, if the culprit is bored/hates their job then quit and find a job they like for fuck sake.

She had a small amount of precription drugs which she was taking for migraine. When it was obvious that she was innocent of the tampering she was dismissed for having the prescription drugs.
She got a payout of £53,000 from GMP for defamation of character.

Sad really because I have met them both. Tim runs a dart shop near Stockport and him and Rebbecca live in the flat above the shop. He is a very good darts player and used to play for Rileys in Chorlton in the 501 league. If you had met him you would never have thought he was the type of person to view indecent images of kids.

It's always a shock.
I knew a bloke for over 20 years who ended up doing time for a similar offence.
Even when he pleaded guilty I found it hard to believe.
You just never know.

I still can't believe Pete Townshend got away with that one.

He does have the look of a dirty old man.

It's funny how a tragic chain of events can have a knock on effect. three people died at Stepping Hill having been poisoned intravenously. The police investigation led them to Rebecca Leighton because she was on duty on the material ward when all three victims were believed to have been poisoned. Upon arrest they searched their flat and removed Tims computer as well as Tramadol which she has taken from the hospital for her own use. After her arrest she was hounded by the press and suffered horrendous abuse by trolls on Facebook. Tim's computer also revealed his dark side. Rebecca spent 6 weeks on remand in Prison because of the serious nature of the offence even though she protested her innocence. £53,000 is small change for a loss of career because by all accounts she was a good nurse and well respected by her colleagues.
That Filipino bastard has a lot to answer for.
