Hopefully he won't be thinking of playing despite only being 36. He was awful when Stoke signed him a few years back. Pulis loaned him out straight away and he did nothing. Still it's good that he's staying in shape.

Apparently eidur is training with us as he hopes to gain a move to a prem club. He said he was too good to play for us

Just seen this on Facebook -
"Neil Lennon was on sky earlier this evening saying that eidur is actually training with BWFC to hopefully earn himself a contract, NL said that he still has something to offer but that it's up to him to get fit in the next few weeks and prove it.
He (Eidur) contacted the club himself and wanted to come and try earn a contract. Also, apparently he's desperate to get back into the Iceland squad so wants to get back playing ASAP"

Really? Clearly hasn't thought through his retirement plan.
I'll be gobsmacked if I ever see Eidur in a Bolton shirt again - but it actually sounds like a possibility.
