Just back from seeing Interstellar but I was reminded why I don't go to the cinema very often these days.

I can't stand listening to people stuff their faces throughout the film with gallon drums of smelly popcorn and/or eating sweets with wrappers that rustle.

Was the film worth seeing?

I saw it over the weekend, I enjoyed it as a big dumb blockbuster but It's not particularly special.

Fun for five minutes IMO. Can't believe people have compared it to 2001, good grief.

It's more like Sunshine.

You'll love it then, and honestly I did enjoy it.... to a point... I'll leave it there to not spoil it.

the dialogue is absolutely appalling too btw.

It's people who talk during the film that piss me off. I threw a half bucket of popcorn at some knobber in Vue a few weeks back while trying to watch The Equaliser.

I hope those rules include having an empty popcorn carton with a hole in for your willy forbidden as well...

I watched the Equaliser in Florida at the back end of September and if people talking during the film pissed you off, you would have hated it there.

Christ they really know how to over react in public do the Americans.
