As predicted, Scotland are proving just how completely fucking useless and shit they are and anyone who said that this was going to be a "tough game" and that we'd "learn a lot about our current team playing games like these" is a cunt who clearly knows fuck all about professional football.

Or any football..........

Enjoyed it as far as friendlies go, just about the only way to make them interesting really.

Decent enough performance but a couple of gripes with Hodgson. How's Lambert getting a game ahead of Berahino? Surely if he's in the squad what better opportunity to give him a go in a high intensity game that's meaningless. Also Downing, yes he's been great for West Ham this season but that's playing the number 10 role. A position we have countless better players for, he's not quick enough to play wide and really just doesn't have the quality for international anyway.

Oh and really glad to see Wilshere looking fit and confident at last. I remember a few years ago now he was unreal in the champions league against Barcelona, but injuries really slowed him down. He's looking like he could be building back up again now.

Agree with everything said here. Especially with Downing. He is shit. When he was younger at Boro' he was tipped to be a class act. He hasn't improved one bit and he's a complete pussy as well. Shy's away from any sort of 50/50, can't cross, can't finish. Not sure why he's in the squad to begin with let alone starting the game. Good performance on the whole though even if the opposition were a bit shit. You can only beat the team that's put in front of you and we played some good stuff, especially the third goal.

Great game. On paper it should have been a stroll for the premiership players over the championship players - and so it turned out - but given the history of the tie and the fact it was at Celtic Park there was always a chance that Scotland would turn the English kids over.
Slightly disappointed with some of the more senior Scotland players although there was plenty to admire about Charlie Mulgrew's passing and young Robertson at LB who looks top notch - and a steal for Hull. Scott Brown looked knackered though and by the time they brought Bannan on the thinness of the squad was obvious by comparison. Weird seeing Russell Martin playing CB though - usually FB for Norwich.

Scotland seemed content to have done the business against the Irish (i.e. where it matters) and some players seemed too tired to challenge England, but it was still a good game with some great passages of play.
