Half-a-dozen Bolton Wanderers players currently plying their trade away from Macron Stadium were in action during the latest round of Football League fixtures.

In the Championship, Alex Baptiste completed 90 minutes as a Jordan Rhodes brace saw Blackburn Rovers claim a 2-0 victory at home to Charlton Athletic.

Meanwhile in League One, Jermaine Beckford scored his first goal for Preston North End as the Lilywhites beat Peterborough United 1-0 away from home.

Elsewhere in the division Tom Eaves and Paddy Kenny were also both in action, completing 90 minutes for Yeovil Town and Oldham Athletic respectively as they both sides suffered defeat.

Yeovil lost 1-0 at home to Colchester United, while Oldham suffered a 7-0 defeat away at MK Dons.

In League Two, Andy Kellett helped Plymouth Argyle clinch a 3-0 victory at home to Dagenham and Redbridge, Joe Riley completed 90 minutes as Oxford United drew 1-1 away at Hartlepool United while Hayden White was an unused substitute in Bury’s 2-2 home draw with York.

Patrick, Patrick, Patrick...........

36 now, mate.

Hmm.....?

0-7....?

Even Benik Afobe scored one!

And he wasn't deemed good enough to play for us and we were (and remain) desperate for a goal scorer, so what does that tell you?

You're still a young man and you've obviously got a few bob in the bank.

Buy a farm and breed Labradors, mate.

It's for the best.
