Is anyone cutting back on the booze, or even going the whole of January without a drop?

as from Monday the 5th i'm going back running, being a fitness freak again, are you with me.

We could all give each other encouragement on here, a month of feeling fresh, lets get our sixpacks looking good .
Get our diet plans laid out.

i've been meaning to start at the gym for months but been too lazy to go. Going to make the effort this month to lose the Christmas blubber.

Have a look around, they might be some great deals as all the fatties will be joining.

Good luck.

there is gym literally round the corner from my house so i have no excuses really. I even bought some new trainers months ago to use but they are just gathering dust.

Time to get on it like a car bonnet Very Happy

I satisfy the NHS requirement of 21 units max per day so why the requirement to cut back?

Not drying out yet, because drinking today at the match, but the first run of the year is out of the way, just a nice 5 miler to blow the cobwebs away.

You only live once. You can't have a glass of wine when you're dead.

My aim for this year is to just eat what I like, when I like. I have tried cutting down last year and it was horrible. I missed my favourite choccy treats, takeaways, puddings, etc.

I feel much better after stopping the booze on the 3rd, I did have a Margarita last Thurs but that was it.

A bit naughty I know but my body is starting to love me again apart from the one hiccup!

I do miss my Friday nights out with the lads down the pub though which I have knocked on the head for a bit!

Anyone else doing Dryathlon?

I don't drink that often so I've no need to give up, although when I drink I do drink...
