Things conspire against us!

Bolton concede goal to drop 2 points in injury time which means even a win at Stoke may not be enough.

QPR look to be heading for a draw until the 89th minute when they grab a winner to put them 2 points clear of the drop zone ahead of the final day.

Villa score a 45 yard deflected goal to rescue a point (which keeps them up) against a Spurs side who dominated possession and had 19 corners and 24 shots to Villa's 4.

Wigan heading for a draw until they grab an 88th minute winner against Blackburn to propel them clear of relegation trouble. We can't catch them now and have to hope QPR lose and we win away from home.

though the injuries are definitely misfortune, we've suffered in that area about as bad as you could have wanted to.

JayJay, there's some truth in what you say. I believe the great 'Manager In The Sky' has got it in for us.

ps. I am not blaming those events for our position, just saying luck was not with us much this weekend results wise. Even our best defender got injured and we had to live with zat for 45 dreadful minutes.

If you consider Wheater to be our best defender it is a measure of how shit our defence is. Of course we have that doom and gloom feeling the way that things have panned out, and maybe it's just not going to be our season but the fat lady hasn't sung yet. All those silly points dropped earlier in the season is why we are here but Soke is another game and maybe the Gods will be kinder to us.
