Having turned 70, I think it's time to get back into the reading habit.
Used to read a hell of a lot more until the internet reared its ugly head, and I'm the poorer for it.
The Kindle and Kobo e-readers have made access to books far more convenient and space saving for the likes of me, being something of a hoarder with regard to books.
I'm sure Nat would agree that I should spend a little less time in the world of Google.

And perhaps one day you'll progress past your Peter & Jane books.

Peter?

I only remember Dick. Strange that you, of all people, should forget Dick. Shocked

I never forget dick, it's the first word that springs to mind every time I read one of your posts.

One hour of silence occasionally broken by a cow moo, is also top class. I've got it on CD as well.

You're not a good advertisement for retirement.

I'm lucky to be alive at a time when all this great entertainment is available at the click of a mouse. There aren't enough hours in the day to see everything, but I'm living the dream.

One Man And His Bike by Mike Carter.
Well worth the effort. Great as an audible listen on a long walk.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

Just read the Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Great twist at the end as well if you like that kind of thing. Also recently finished the Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman, really enjoyable murder mysteries. Very humorous as well. Not sure if anybody is interested in this kind of thing on here anymore but I recommend them all the same.

I'm intersted in the Osman books, but I've not got round to reading one yet. I've asked a few people and the views are mixed. There's no middle ground. It seems they love them or hate them. Think it's time I tried one. Use the Kindle more and more these days so I'll download his first effort this week.
In passing, I don't read half as much as I used to do. I seem to exist on a diet of football, the internet and The Twilight Zone.
Christmas day is a big day for me, but not because of the birth of Christ.
Oh no. Rod Serling was born on Christmas day, so I'm with Rod.

I'm definitely in the 'love them' camp. He's got a style of writing I really like and the characters are great. Right up your street I reckon Boncey.
