Should the millionaire ex-club legends pay to see the match just like the rest of us?

Muamba apparently had a press ticket - was SKD working for the radio?

Could have been- but even without working for somebody both of these ex players would be welcomed back by 99% of fans at any time.

Question is- if Megson turned up ,would we expect him to pay?

If Megson turned up i would expect him to be tarred and feathered as part of the half time entertainment, or maybe put some stocks up in the centre circle so people can throw things at him (not rotten fruit though something hard and heavy) Twisted Evil

C'mon Norpig- forgive and forget. It wasn't that bad. Look what followed!!

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I think if they are invited as guests of ambassadors of the club they shouldn't have to pay. It's like someone inviting me to their party and when I accept, ask me for £30.
The Bobby Moore story is a sad one and I would hope that any club, especially ours, wouldn't treat their legends like that.
Forget post 6, I've changed my mind. I don't think they should be charged. BTID has swayed me with that story.

I have PAID to watch Bolton for 25 years.

Kevin Davies, Muamba and Sturridge were paid by Bolton Wanderers to be there.

So who is more important to the club?

Nat: 25 years X £1000 paid in = £25,000 input.

Kevin Davies: 74 goals over 10 years to help keep the club in the Prem earning £100 million in TV / prize money, minus about £10 million in wages = Nett input of about £90 million.

Hmmm.....let me just work out whose contribution to the club is the greater.....

And why were you buying your own ticket when you were 7?

Your Dad must've been a right tight bastard back then.

So you normally let people have sex with you for money do you, Scott?

Interesting.....

I still charge, but my rates have come down since I turned 60. Demand seems to have dropped recently but I'm hoping it's just a seasonal fluctuation. Either that or my rippling muscles don't have the same effect when buried under Damart long johns and 3 knitted jumpers....
