The future of Nigel Pearson as Leicester manager is unclear after reports suggested he had been dismissed by the club.
Sources early on Sunday evening had claimed Pearson had been sacked but there was no offical comment from the club to confirm this.
Sky Sports News HQ reporter Rob Dorsett said: "It’s a very confused picture at Leicester City and the future of Nigel Pearson remains unclear.
"A source has told me that, as far as he is aware, Pearson is still the Leicester City manager and he also added there are no imminent plans from the Leicester hierarchy for that to change.
"The crucial factor is we have not had an official statement from the football club, they have been silent on the matter."
Reports of Pearson's sacking came a day after the Leicester boss was involved in a bizarre incident during the Foxes 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Pearson was involved in a fracas with James McArthur after the Palace midfielder had accidentally felled the Leicester boss. The Leicester boss had initially appeared to playfully grab McArthur around the throat, before helping him to his feet, only to then prevent him from returning to the pitch by grabbing hold of his shirt.
Leicester are rooted to the foot of the Premier League table after scoring just three goals in their last eight home league games and the Foxes have won just four games out of 24 league matches this season.

Lennons made his feelings known at board level and then this report comes out. Bit of a sticky situation now. Could be untenable.

Pearson and Matt Mills have history. It's rumoured that Pearson chinned Mills when he managed him previously.

The Leicester board may have turned turtle and back pedalled but surely it is a question of when not if?
