Third shirt for 2015/16 to commemorate Burnden Disaster
Following the announcement of season tickets for the forthcoming season, Bolton Wanderers are also delighted to confirm details for the for the club’s 2015/16 third shirt.
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Burnden Disaster on 9 March 2016, the Macron-manufactured limited edition third shirt will be custom-designed and have the names of the 33 individuals who lost their lives printed within the fabric.
A total of 1,000 shirts will be made available for purchase, with £10 from each sale being donated to a Bolton-based charity chosen by the supporters.
The Lancashire rose and date of the Burnden Disaster, ’09-03-1964’ will also feature on the reverse and collar of the shirt.

so what will be the colour of the away kit next season then? That looks similar in colour to this years (maybe a bit lighter but still blue)

It's appropriately old school and I like it. No disrespect to the current charity but the khaki/green thing we currently have ain't so easy on the eye.

Why do they only make a limited number available? Sell more shirts = more money for charity. Don't get it.

They are creating a higher demand for a lower supply. If they wasn't released as limited would they sell as well?
