dont get me wrong i love to see politicians squirming and being made to answer the actual question but Paxman just winds me up with his manner. He always seems to be looking down his nose at everyone and seems to be a snob.

I like paxman. He doesn't take no shit no matter who he's interviewing and if the lying politions are trying to dodge questions they've got no chance.

He makes the mistake of putting people on their guard from the off.........a good interrogator puts his quarry at ease.

I thought Miliband was excellent last night, his answers were on the whole straight and direct, even when he was veing asked ridiculous questions about his relations with his brother. Who cares about that? Clearly just done to try and wind him up, he laughed it off well though.

Seriously? I was very disappointed in him. He fudged nearly every question he was asked. I know Paxo is a self-centred smug git but it's his job to ask the tough questions and I thought Ed performed rather poorly.

These occasions always favor the opposition as they have absolutely nothing to defend. Milliband is also in the relatively unique position of being able to disassociate himself from the failings of the previous labour government. 

Added to that he can say and promise absolutely anything without reproach as he's totally untested.

Really? I thought he answered all of the important questions well -

Paxman accused him of being wrong about wages, unemployment and inflation, Miliband was in fact right about wages, says he'd make cuts if he became PM police and loval gov as well as fuel allowance for wealthy pensioners.

Thinks energy bills are unfairly high, wants the market to be regulated.

Won't get into negotiations with Salmond and definitely won't scrap Trident. Explained how the mansion tax was designed to redistribute the wealth around the UK as a whole and not just Scotland as Paxman suggested.

I also liked the way he did what Cameron didn't in admitting mistakes that have been made in the past ie immigration and de-regulation of banks. 

The questions about his brother and personality are bullshit, I care about his policies not his personal life
