Neil Lennon believes the best is yet to come from in-form striker Adam Le Fondre.
The on-loan Cardiff City man bagged his fifth goal in his last six Bolton appearances during the 2-2 draw at Brentford at the weekend.
And after impressing since signing during the January transfer window, Lennon says he has been delighted with Le Fondre’s contributions in a Bolton shirt.
“Alfie is in a rich vein of form right now,” the manager said. “He’s been scoring a lot of goals at home recently, so we challenged him to score away from home and he’s done that now.
“Eight goals in 15 games is a brilliant return and I think he’s really enjoying his football with us.
“He’s got a great foil to work with in Emile, who for the last 20 years has been one of the best around.
“We’re very pleased with Alfie, but we think he can improve and get better.”
