without sounding condescending it seems like the right thing to do. Try and scrape it without going mad spending wise and if you do go down, take a few quid with you.

It's the only way to go for us as a club.

However we have had two failed transfer windows where we were chasing players that we were never going to get because we weren't offering the right money (I don't mean exorbitant sums).

We've needed a centre midfielder in for the last two seasons. Yes we have players who can play there but we need a specialised centre midfielder in, and that's the disappointing thing.

If as a Burnley fan you always remember being 90 minutes away from going out of business, then you can never be upset at being at the bottom of the Money League.
