Tim Ream has been named as Bolton Wanderers’ Player of the Season for a second consecutive year.
The American international, who has featured on 48 occasions for the Whites during the course of the current campaign, scooped the accolade with 24 percent of votes submitted by the club’s supporters.
Academy graduate Josh Vela finished in second place with 19 percent, while Matt Mills took third position with 17 percent.
It is the second award for Ream in just over a week, after he also retained the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association’s Player of the Year.
Speaking to bwfc.co.uk following confirmation of his success, the 27-year-old admitted his delight at securing the accolade once more.
“Winning this award once was a huge honour, but to do it twice, back to back, is beyond words and something that will always be a highlight of my career,” he said.
“It would not have been possible without the team and the guys around me though - it’s an award that could have been given to a handful of other players too, but to be chosen by the fans is truly something special.
“I’d like to thank my teammates, the manager and the backroom staff, but most importantly the fans.
“It’s something that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life - I’ve been here for three-and-a-half years now and I’m happy both on and off the pitch, so this is just the icing on the cake.”
