Evening Karl, by the way.

Drunk....?  Very Happy

Nah not tonight unfortunately.

Only have 4 cans of Heineken for this evening and just gone through 2.

I'm no lightweight. Very Happy

I'm working permanent weekends from next week, so I'm having one last hurrah before it starts.

This must be how criminals feel when they're awaiting sentencing and know they're going down for a stretch.

The not drinking thing has been temporarily suspended.

Sorry mate - You go where the work is unfortunately.

And I think that Johnny is more than capable of keeping you busy in my absence.  Very Happy

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

Let's not pretend he won't have his laptop connected to the free premier inn wifi and be posting on here when he should be watching porn and enjoying his time away from the better half.

Ha! That's where you're wrong!

This one's in Scouserpool so I can come home and sleep in the familial bed.

Mrs B's not impressed but tough!

She won't be moaning when she's having her hair done and buying new handbags, will she?

The least she can do is share her pit with a middle-aged fart machine who tends to "starfish" on the odd occasion.... Very Happy

Listening to scousers all weekend? Couldn't be doing with it bread.

I've done it before.

You just kind of zone out after a bit and say: "Yeah, right whatever.....just do as you're told, lah."

(The "lah" is thrown in casually to try and get them to think that you see them as semi-equal and you're not just viewing them as the bone-idle caricatures that you and they both know they are.)

If there's an angle, yer Scouser has already seen it, weighed it up and is already working it to his advantage.

I like the challenge, if I'm honest.

And they are quite funny.

I'll still be here and posting as much shit as normal.

(Yes, Scott.....The Golden Boys ain't going nowhere.)

Just less so on weekend nights.

I'll be too busy taking out all my frustrations on the people of Liverpool.

I'm around for a short while.

Just been watching the Alan Partridge film.

Big disapointment imo.

Heard that myself and given how much I love AP, having lived that life for a bit, I decided to swerve it.

Don't want to ruin the memories.

Dan!.................Dan!...........Dan!........Dan!.....Dan!...Dan!..Dan!..Dan!

It's on BBC iplayer if you change your mind.

It did have one or two funny moments in it but the film simply didn't work for me.

Certainly not a classic, imo.
