I always give my old furniture to the heart charity, they come and pick it up, saves the pain of moving it yourself.

I left an old sofa outside my flat, next morning it was gone. I got a bean bag, mini trampoline (never used it but seemed a good idea) and coffee table doing the same thing, people here just leave unwanted items outside and somebody finds a use for them.

I decided today I was gonna make my own tzatziki, because it's a quid in Asda for a piddly pot.
But by the time I'd bought the yoghurt, the mint, the cucumber, and stood in my kitchen chopping garlic, I realised I wasn't exactly winning.

Sort of. It looks like one and used to be but now it's full of hipster twats, everybody's loaded and has way too much stuff.
If there's one thing I love it's free stuff.

Funnily enough, I once had to have a brand-new sofa literally sawn in half just to get it INTO my apartment. Turns out its pretty common and there are specialists who come in, chop 'em up and then stitch them back together inside your apartment. Left it there when I moved out instead of trying to get the bugger out again. That's f****d up New York living for you.
