I've never really understood this site.

It is an American site, set up by an american, with no apparant connection with Bolton.

Once he got a job he packed it all in and Chris Manning (aka Batman) took it over.

There doesn't seem to be any banter or postings on there (unless they have a Facebook site or something?) and the vast majority of the article seem to be writen by Batman without any objectivity - just a vehicle for his own opinions.

To be fair he does seem to put a lot of effort into it, does seem to be one of the first with news (although that might be he is on twitter every minute of the day it seems - check out his account if you think I'm exaggerating!).

A thoughly dislikeable person - certainly based on the abuse he posted over many years on forums and twitter - and is banned or blocked from many forums or twitter accounts.

He's married, was an estate agent the last I heard and has a family - I'm not breaking any confidentiality, he's put it all out there in the public domain himself.

He's not even young any more.

He spends his time playing Football Manager - he writes up the Bolton players values or something like that - for FM.

Spends an inordiate amount of his time trying hard not to grow up and acting childish.

Maybe he'd be more accurate referring to himself as Peter Pan (someone who wants to remain playing with children) than a crime fighting super hero such as Batman.

After saying all that it is still a better site than BA as now become, which simply rewrites articles from NewsNow and passes them off as their own and has a forum that as been totally wrecked and infested by wums - all so the owner can earn some easy money from the ads he has on there.

Yes, he's the one.

To be fair he does have (did have anyway - don't know what he's like these days - I never bother reading his bile) a good prescence on forums - opinionated, quite funny and sharp - but that was offset with intolerance, abuse and a 'me, me, me' attitude.

I've tried to tempt him to become a regular on a couple of forums I've been on before (BA when he was on tw, and here when he had been kicked off tw and before he was dumped as a mod on ba) as his plus qualities would imo have helped make any forum better.

However his self opinion of himself and the unnecessary abuse he likes to give out as alienated him from nearly everywhere - certainly the major BWFC forums and quite a few high profile twitter accounts too.

I doubt he cares as he loves to spend his life twittering to a vast bulk of people who have never met him or ever likely to do so.

Bit of a wasted life imo.

I don't think so.

As far as I'm aware Manning is a real person who doesn't pretend to be any other than who he is.  Sadly for much of the time that is being self opinionated and obnoxious to most people on social media sites

He's also nowhere as clever or as sharp as Natasha - say what you like about the Whittam account but to me and most on here - it's funny (most times!).

We had some good banter. He wasn't as bad i thought to be fair. I think I've chilled out a bit though. (Just a bit )

I've seen what that manning guy looks like, no wonder he gives it the big one behind his computer screen

I've said this before, she occasionally goes quiet for a certain amount of time and then returns with some wild story. I called it last time she did it, think breadman may remember
