Manda was a Councillor in Bath - are you saying that she misrepresented her constituents in any way?

If so that is a serious libelous accusation.

If so I wouldn't blame her one bit if she sued you.

The site would obviously be happy to comply with any requests her solicitor or the police would want from this site.

In my home town a very good Lib dem MP - who had done a good job over the past 5 years, was voted out of office to a Tory,  everybody ive spoken to from home (including my parents) voted Tory because they feared a Labour SNP coalition so an excellent MP lost her job, so Ye I feel sorry for the Lib Dems. Plenty of good people chucked out because of Tory scare tactics.

I think this thread is about suggestions we could make to make the forum better. I did wrong in that I didn't stick to that. Don't think I deserved the response, or the kicking I got at elections, but that's life. I feel bereft that what I spent 40+ hours a week doing over the last 4 years, for little recompense (less than 20p an hour) has been taken from me, so yes Scott, whether you meant to or not, your post hurt me. I'm not arrogant enough to think that I shouldn't take personal responsibility for what happened, but am realistic enough to know it was not in my control largely in that as a LibDem in such a Tory area persuaded of the threat of a Labour SNP government I was due a kicking. However, the fact so many are on here and enjoy it shows that whoever the owners are, and the mods, they are doing something v right, keep on going.

I'm very sorry you got hurt by some insensitive, mindless, totally heartless, saddo, who gets their kick from trying to get a rise out of others off the internet.

As always he takes things far to far just for his own petty amusement and continual craving for attention.

Your hurt was extremely palpable even over the internet and any half decent person would have left you be - but not our 'friend' - he's far too wrapped up in himself, thinking how clever and funny he is.

I hope he as the balls to contact you privately and apologise.

In fairness to Scott, I don't think he posted that intending to offend Manda personally he's just an idiot who doesn't understand the topic and so didn't get the implications of what he said.
