I was walking through Johnson Fold estate today, when I passed a group of three lads walking in the opposite direction that can't have been older than 11, one of which held out his arms in my direction in a manner that somebody would if they were asking to start a fight.
I appreciated immediately that it was only an attempt to look big in front of his friends and that we both understood that if there weren't consequences to consider, I could batter the little bastard with ease, and so I kept walking as though I hadn't seen him, but it's that last point that irritates me the most. These little scumbags take advantage of the laws that favour them; there's nothing stopping them from behaving like imbeciles in public, not even their parents in most cases.
As it happens, I love kids and happen to be famously very good with them, but incidents like these have me fantasising about kicking the shit out of them.
Am I a bad person or have you had similar experiences that have angered you similarly?
