I used to watch them all in a row when they were on when I was younger.
Hardly watch TV at all now, I think it's because watching it on your own is not the same especially when watching soaps.

They're ridiculous.
Does anyone ever stop shouting?
Now a helicopter crash in Emmerdale.
Get ready for the bin lorry crash in Corrie.
All very tasteful. Not,

When I used to watch it, one soap would have a disaster and then a different soap would have the same one a couple of months later!
That was mainly constipation street and emmerfail!

I have no choice in the matter.
5 nights a week, between 18:30 and 21:00 I surrender control of the TV to Mrs B.
Hence why I spend / waste so much time on here.
The trade off is, I get to watch football, cricket, rugby, etc all weekend without complaint / hoovering in front of the telly.
Not a bad deal.
(And Emmerdale has been good lately, you're right.)

what gets me, is when a story line gets introduced and you know, know, KNOW that at some stage a "secret" will come out, but it takes forever and there are so many near misses along the way...egs being Pete not finding out about Debbie and Ross till the wedding cos letter kept getting snatched away, and the DNA results being changed so Vanessa thinks Adam is the father of her child...either Yorkshire is different from my imagination, or this bears no resemblance to real life, and I think soaps are at their best when they are believable.

One soap I do miss is Brookside before the last series and end specials that made it shite.

Yeah, Moira runs the farm with Cain Dingle and Andy Sugden helping.
Her husband died in a car crash a while back and she's had a tough time of it.
She's got great knockers though.

No.
That's Lucy Jo Hudson, who was in Corrie and is married to Tyrone in real life.
And her brother used to play for Wakefield Wildcats.
