Just been stung by a wasp.

But don't worry, the wasp is totally dead, squashed, splattered, and gone to hell.

Great Scott as I fecking hate them with a passion ever since I was stung in the face on holiday in Tywyn in 96!

I might go hunting them, pour a load of Cider on me, let them come and I'll have it out with the twats.

I wonder if that's the first time anyone's shouted "Great Scott!" on here?

It's largely become a forgotten expression in my view.

Along with "Lawks!" and "Gadzooks!"

i had to get the council in last week as we had a wasp nest in our back garden. The fella came to spray them and just wore a mask to protect against the insecticide but had no other protective gear on. Trouble was the wasps we had were very aggressive and he got stung a good few times. I could see he hopping about in the garden  .
He did say he hadn't been stung for about 10 years but i think it shook him up.

I just got stung by a Bee, 4 fucking quid for a jar of honey.
