Can you believe how quickly things have gone to shit?

Do you remember that day when Bolton sold Anelka and his replacement was Raziak on loan? It almost caused riots. But jesus, someone as good as Raziak now would be greeted by joyous scenes, people in Bolton beeping their horns and celebrating all night.

How times have quickly changed, from signing players like Okocha, Anelka, Stelios, Diouf, Hierro, Campo, Djorkaeff, etc. to signing the shower of players that are being signed now.

Did you ever believe this would happen to Bolton, so quickly?

Things seemed to have turned to shit at Chelsea also. Should you not be more mithered about them saying as they're your team? Or have you swopped again?

Part of me feels like how crap we are now is us paying the price for punching above our weight for that four years, even though in reality it was the following five awful years that cost us most.

It's depressing seeing considerably smaller clubs like Swansea bringing in great players from abroad and always giving the likes of Chelsea and United a proper match, because that's what we used to do.

But to be fair that's probably how the likes of Forest and Wednesday used to feel about us. And they've both been knocking around the second and third division for nearly 20 years now. What's stopping us doing the same?

I'm pretty sure that Bolton fans of a certain age thought ten years or so ago... well this is all good and great fun but it's a load of bollocks in the long term.

A tenner says Chelski finish in the top half of their table and we finish in the bottom half of ours..... so I wouldn't worry to much about them.
As for us we have been going downhill since Sam left and Fat Phil has ruled. When the club is sold the turnaround will begin IMO.
