…and that's exactly why I logged on to Nuts. Foolishly, I hadn't expected the hollow little drama queen having a pop at me again.

knowing you, boncey, you would somehow manage to seriously injure yourself in a bizarre egg throwing incident.boltonbonce wrote:Waltham Le willows are giving half a dozen eggs to the first 50 paying supporters.
We could try that. I wouldn't throw any. Honest.

It's definitely not for me but each to their own I suppose. Just don't start supporting Wigan Warriors or I will make Sluffy ban you for life.
I do remember Mr Mugan as well. He was deputy head as well as the Rugby coach if I remember correctly. A real good bloke actually, as were quite a few teachers at our school.
Mr Knott was a good bloke as well. He used to take us to away games on the minibus. He wasn't a priest like lots of others there so I wasn't too concerned about being groomed. One of the away games was Stockport County just after Ricardo Gardner had signed and Gardners family were sat in front of us. John Newsome (remember him?) had a great game that night as well.y2johnny wrote:Bwfc1958 wrote:Good luck with the Egg chasing Johnny!

Mr knott was my favourite. Mugan was up there too. Definitely not father williams though.
We were in Bath yesterday, Manda. I was disappointed that City were away. Still quite a few scarves on show, though..... or they may have been Bristol scarves!Chairmanda wrote:Bath City are playing today, come on, make them your second team (answering piggers question) They are away at Harlow in FA cup. Harlow are 3 divs lower, but they have home advantage, esp key, as they have a v old 3g pitch which apparently takes some getting used to....it is £7.5k to the winners at this stage (3QR)...come on you Romans!!! If anyone is interested, with no championship matches on, we have a team of volunteers who do a great job of commentary and it can be found at http://www.bathcityinternetradio.co.uk/#!contact/c24vq from 2.45pm
would have loved to meet you okocha, hope you had lovely day. Think the scarfs were prob Bath Rugby who played yesterday eve. It is such a lovely place isn't it? If you are still around on Tuesday, you could catch the replay (don't ask, Harlow are 49 places below us and we were v v lucky to get a draw according to commentary who are usually v fair)okocha wrote:We were in Bath yesterday, Manda. Remarkable that in such a beautiful place, a huge number of youngsters were still looking down at their smartphones, wearing earphones and walking into the road without properly checking for traffic.....Death rate in Bath must equal that in Little Hulton!
