It is a complete fantasy that it works and there is no scientific evidence to support it. It only works in the same way that faith healing does. It is just a placebo effect.

it is a waste of money, my background is working in Pharmacy, both Hospital and retail and it is a load of rubbish but can be a big seller for some chemists as people do believe it works 
My old GP in Bolton more or less gave up his normal practice to get more involved in homeopathy which surprised me a lot at the time, you would think he would have more knowledge and sense.
