Not being a massive fan of Premier League football, I barely watch it these days but I've tuned into the Leicester V Utd game to see if Vardy could break the record (which he did after 24 minutes - well done him) and I've been paying particular attention to Wayne Rooney's contribution.

And all he's done so far is run about a bit in midfield, dive on the edge of the Leicester box, give the ball away a few times and not a lot else.

I know he took Bobby Charlton's England record recently, so he's obviously not a stump but is he really that good?

If you listen to the Sky TV hype, he's one of the best players in the world but he doesn't look like it to me.

So, is he over-rated or am I just talking out of my bottom again?

His control is not the same, not the same player he was, but could still bang a couple of goals in.

Overall not à UTD player, and they should get rid.

Very average player. Utterly ridiculous that he'll almost certainly start ahead of Vardy in the Euros.

When will we get a manager with the balls to pick players in good form and not "experience"?

And yes, Rooney is looking on and off recently, I actually thought he was decent against France.
