thank you, 1000 up

At the risk of being a bit mushy, this year has not been great and I have had to take my pleasure where I can. My friends in the non online world have been bloomin' amazing, and my enforced lengthy bed rest has meant I have been online far more than normal, hence getting to 1000 posts on nuts. Genuinely you have made me laugh, shown me kindness, challenged my views, driven me...well, nuts I guess, and my life is better because of those who run and those who contribute to this forum. Football is a passion, friends are a necessity, keep on being yourselves (whoever they may be) and support the club in whatever incarnation for whatever time it exists. And thanks for making me happier than I would have been without you. Just think what I'll be like if I ever get to 10k posts...

Well done Manda. I can tell you are one of life's good 'uns and hope next year is better for you than this one. I hope you do make it to 10k as this place wouldn't be the same without your input.

Well, I can't speak for anybody else on here (obviously) but as far as I'm concerned, I believe you give far more to this site than you take from it, Mand.

Your insightful opinions and your calming influence, together with your wicked sense of humour and obvious charm really add to whole experience and I'm really glad you're a part of this community.

I genuinely hope you start to see an upturn in your personal fortunes in 2016 because you really are one of life's good guys and you deserve some happiness.
