From what i've heard it's not worth it.
In this day and age the club should be offering the kind of content you get on there for free.
a few player interviews and they're charging for it. This is the kind of thing you get from American sports teams daily on Youtube.

Surely you're going to buy it so you can watch interviews with your heroes Holden and Mavies?

No.
I would never pay to see an interview with a player.
I think it should be a common courtesy from the club to offer such things for free quite honestly.

But what if Holden tells the viewers what he had for breakfast? You'll miss it.

I'd pay for football related TV programmes to be free of player interviews.

Do they actually show live coverage of league games on Wanderers Player? If they did, you'd have to consider it for next season, definitely.

No, as far as I'm aware it offers a live Radio stream.

I hate to go on about American Sport but the NBA offers EVERY game available to stream online or to your TV for £89, thats over 1000 games. You can also watch them on replay at any time, this is all in Hi-Def.

Next season is going to be a massive culture shock, we've been spoiled by internet streams for games we can't get to for the last 2-3 years. I'll never forget calling bloody Clubcall when we were away at Southampton in the cup, because I'd seen on Teletext we had scored in the last minute and wanted to hear about the goal, and tuned in just in time to hear the commentary of Barry Horne's thunderbolt past Felgate. OK it's not going to be that bad, but still.

Unfortunately it wasn't a thunderbolt just dodgy keeping - as Max Boyce is famous for saying - "I know because I was there!".

I have been on Wanderers player. It started of showing extended highlights. ie motd highlights plus an extra min or so. Then it seemed to drop to just the goals and some interviews. It also allows you to listen to radio commentry online - it is the exact same broadcast as you get on Radio Manchester 95.1 fm.
MLS teams get full delayed coverage and sometimes live coverage of matches on their online tv player - almost always for free.

With thanks to the various packages that the FA offer and its actually the FA that handles the lists of games in each package which Sky and ESPN choose from. E.g. Package A could be Saturday lunchtime with games from either West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool or QPR - whoever has acquired that package then chooses one of the matches and teh rest end up in the 3pm kick-off. The same happens in the other 4 pacakages.
The new franchise, from 2013/2014 season, is even worse as there are now 7 packages with still no Saturday 3pm kick-off and the FA TV rights for European broadcasters now also mean no more Saturday 3pm kick-offs to try to stop the pubs from showing live games. But the 2 new packages are to deal with the Prem teams in Europe and cannot play the Sat 3pm kick-off and have to be re-arranged to either play earlier or later.
