Official: Lawrie Wilson joins Peterborough on loan

Lawrie Wilson has joined Peterborough United on a loan deal until January 30.

The full-back joins the Sky Bet League One outfit having made a total of nine appearances for Bolton so far this term.

Wilson goes straight into Graham Westley’s squad for Peterborough’s trip to Sheffield United this weekend.

Peterborough currently sit sixth in the League One table.

It wasn't so long ago that we were desperately short of full backs and now there seems to be a glut.
But I think that's down to the manager not being willing to blood the youngsters early enough or rather stick with them whilst they learn their trade. Our finances clearly show that you can't just keep buying the finished product so at some point you have to be prepared to give the kids a shot and accept that mistakes will be made.
