Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!
It's a load of bollocks but it's very funny. Ringing the police with the name, address and date of birth of a bird you want to have sex with 24 hours in advance is ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure that stopping a woman halfway through foreplay and saying, "hang on, this will have to wait until tomorrow. I need to let the copoers know what I'm planning on doing to you first", is probably a bit of a mood killer.

I'm pretty sure that such an order is unconstitutional given that the man was acquitted. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see some enterprising lawyer taking this one to the UK Supreme Court of European Court of Human Rights on the grounds that the courts and police have no authority to demand such information from an individual, especially one who has not been convicted of a sex offence. Frankly I don't see how the police could be expected to enforce such an order anyway. What are they going to do? tail him 24/7 in case he meets a woman and they hit it off?
Frankly put this order is a disgrace, it abrogates his right to privacy and is yet one more symptom of how this government is eroding personal freedoms in the name of 'safety and security' which it has nothing to do with. It's about power, plain, simple and rapidly becoming dictatorial power.

The world has gone mad. What if he chooses not to comply with the conditions of his court order? Are we seriously expected to believe that the local constabulary in Yorkshire will have the resources to keep him under 24 hour surveillance, day in, day out, just waiting for the opportunity to nab him breach his court conditions by getting his end away without notifying the authorities?
