Apparently (I've just read in the BN) it was the annual "free" piss-up last Saturday for Lifeline / Goldline members at the stadium.

I've been paying in for 27 years and not only have I never won a bean, this is the first I'm hearing about this piss-up.

Does it happen every year?

And why have I never received an invite?

My Goldline agent's never mentioned it, so how do they notify members?

That's it, they can shove it - I'm cancelling right now.

Bollocks to 'em.

Goldline lottery costs £1 a week.

Lifeline costs £2 a week.

Lifeline has an annual piss up.

Goldline lashes out on a five Warby's Toasties and 2 jars of salmon paste every Millenium in the hope that the next Messiah will turn them into a feast for thousands. And they don't invite anyone.

Ah....I see.

Just checked and it appears I pay into the Goldline.

Poor relations obviously.

(How do I claim my salmon paste butty?)

All you missed was Lennon dressed up as bo peep and Trotter in his best Panto horse outfit..... and a few stale pork pies were provided. Not much of a show really.

That would be the 5,000 ST members then.  Twisted Evil

I won £500 on Goldline. Never won on Lifeline.
Everyone still paying since the lotteries were suspended have been given the option of their money back, or we can donate to the Development Association.
Got to pay for my own stamp to send the forms back though. Cool
