Most people do it on Facebook? What are we all so scared of on here?

Apart from Natasha and previously Amos I don't remember anyone pushing as their real name or photo...

It's a personal choice, isn't it?

Everyone on here knows my real name's Dave but that's only because I always sign off PM's with my name and one of the people I trusted with that information suddenly started using it on the open forum without my consent.

It was "Hi Dave" this and "LOL Dave lol! " that so, despite this being a breach of my trust born out of an immature misjudgement on their part, I didn't make a fuss but it did piss me off a bit.

And that's the point - You choose who you share information with on the internet but not everyone is mature / intelligent enough to work out what's appropriate and what's not, so if in doubt, use an alias.

I'll take the lack of a response as a "no".

All I did was point out the irony of someone who's married to a foreigner banging on about taking back control of the borders and solving the immigrant "problem".

I wasn't abusive and I certainly didn't have a pop at your wife.

But you saw your arse and banned me.

Because you couldn't come up with a cogent argument to counter what I'd said.

And that's dangerous.

As far as I'm aware that's personal abuse and is a breach of forum rules, so if we're being consistent, you should receive a ban.
