I wouldn't take him as a player but as a coach working with Jimmy on the development side I'd bring him back to the Macron in a heartbeat. I doubt he'll come though because it looks as though Phil's already happy with the staff he's got and of course we have to watch the pennies so someone else would have to go to make room for him.

Can't see us spending that much on a fee but it would be nice to be wrong. That said I'm not so sure Doyle would improve us overall.

I know Parky is on record as saying he wants a mature goalie as back up for Amos, but I can't believe we'd spend a million, plus Doyle would want to be first choice.

It's actually a £1 bid not £1million. Read it wrong 

Amos cost us many times last season, every long range effort seemed to fly past him.

I'm all for giving a keeper a chance, but he's had a whole season and not been up to it. We need a new keeper.

Amos seems to have a fundamental issue with long shots particularly to his right side, maybe a new goalie coach will help
