Marc isles has had confirmation from the club a deal CAN be done for ALF. He's had his loan cut short by Wigan apparantly

He's already signed for us, Boggers said so.

But surely we should be getting rid of some of the dead wood like Proctor, Trotter and Dervite.

if we make 4-5 signings does that mean we have to let 4-5 go though? I can think of a few who can be shown the door but we can't afford to lose Clough and Vela especially for the money mentioned

I'd have thought so even though we got one freebie with Prats being reclassified. It's the old question of whether or not we can find anyone interested in the dead wood, hang on to our assets and bring in players who are better - all on a shoestring budget.
