New week, new selection - with thanks to the person who sent them in.

Eels 2
MSP 2 but only because I prefer the Chris Farlowe version and the Stones cover of this classic pop tune.

Not a big fan of the Chemics so it's a 1.

Never heard of the eels before but the tune is okay so it gets a 2.

Like Wander, I preferred the versions by Chris Farlowe and also the Johnny Wakelin version so it's a 2.

2 Don't really see the point of this one.

Out of Time was written by Jagger and Richards, recorded by the Stones as an album track and then Jagger sung backing vocals on Chris Farlowe's cover a year later (1967) which got to number one. Great song but it's been done to death.

I apologise, I've actually made a bit of a boo boo with this one1

The person whose songs they were is Barb, but he had already sent me three songs previous for Round II [see Day 10 (Part II)], so I'm going to have to void this entry - which considering the average of 7.13 (8 people giving 57 points) is lower than his other entry is a bit of a blessing for him!
