I used to feel optimistic at the start of every season, but with the advancing years, and a succession of completely useless gimps managing the club since BSA's departure, I am predicting a 1-1 draw... this is far better than most season openers where I expect us to lose.

Off topic, I know... but who knew we would end up back here in Division 3? Bad times, though I enjoyed many a great day in the 80' watching Wanderers, and it was where I started. 

I still don't want to be bloody here though...

My boy and girl support their local team... Torquay United. 

That is so much better than the usual Devon thing of playing the gloryhunt. I am pleased really, because people would have thought it harsh if I had kicked them out for supporting m*n u*it*d.... there's all this child cruelty malarkey about making 6 and 3 year olds live on the streets... 

The boy does watch Wanderers though when not watching The Gulls, and so will the girl when she's a bit older to cope with the travel. 

Well, it does cut fortunes off the trains seeing as I have a family railcard.

I have to own up to owning a Salford City top.... well, I am Salford born and bred...

My Grandparents were from Eccles. Spent a lot of time there,not far from Hope Hospital.

Eccles, big rival to Swinetun (Swinton). Takes me back to many a crazy Saturday night down the Silver Screen....

I dont mind who he supports to be honest.  Although he did nearly cause me a coronary when he wanted to support bury for a week like his teacher
