I can only assume it's due to the shenanigans what went on last night in Breadders donation thread which wasn't exactly a big deal IMO.

Bit of an overreaction going on again I think. I've just read through that whole thread and found it rather amusing if I'm honest. Not had a popcorn thread like that for ages, well done to all involved I say. Jolly good show!

I agree. The comp seems to have vanished as well which is a real shame.

I'm with Wander, and though the spat about the donation went on a bit, I saw no reason to opt out of the forum. It does sound as though it was the final straw for him.

i was wondering where the competition had gone, i didn't see the thread last night and can't read it at work as the blocker keeps kicking in so i presume it got heated?

I liked Barb's sense of humour, he'll be missed on here

I'm going to miss Barb. Having read the thread which went a bit OTT, nowhere is he mentioned so I'm not sure why he chose this rather drastic action.

It's a shame but it maybe stems back to the brexit threads, I've only been around here for a while but that was definitely a turning point where forum banter and insults became full blown animosity and several threads since have gone that way and I'm guilty of getting involved in one or 2 myself.
Hopefully now the football season has started again it can distract people from the political divisions.

managed to read the donation thread now and it wasn't any worse than plenty of others i've read and been part of on here, must be the overall vibe we are giving off, like a older version of Lord of the Flies
