What the fuck, witnesses say the ex Villa player was co-operating with the old bill, but still got tazered, wonder if these coppers get in any shit for this?

sad news, i read about this earlier, he was a decent player especially at Villa. Let hope this isn't another case of a black man being unfairly treated by the Police

Terrible news whether he was a footballer or not, from the reports which can be very unreliable it doesn't sound great from the police.
I always like to give them the benefit of the doubt because they have such a thankless task but this has the appearance of being excessive. I've no doubt that the officer who shot the taser will have difficulty living with this and am sure it wasn't meant to be a fatal action but there doesn't appear to be a history of violence with him.
It doesn't say he was cooperating with police only that he "appeared" non threatening they are different things completely, I don't know what his relationship with his dad was but I bet he wished he opened the door now, he has to live with that too.
All in all very tragic for all concerned, RIP and condolences to those close to him.
