BEN Amos is on the verge of leaving Wanderers on loan to sign for Championship side Cardiff City.

The former Manchester United keeper has found himself behind Mark Howard so far this season but is now discussing a season-long loan deal with the Bluebirds.
Amos is one of the bigger earners on Wanderers’ books – but his departure would leave Phil Parkinson without any senior cover less than a week before the close of the transfer window.

Should the deal go through before the weekend it might also leave the Whites with only one senior keeper for their League One clash at Charlton Athletic.

he's a decent keeper but if he's on 18K a week as reported then that's far too much for a reserve keeper in league 1

Think from what I have seen Will Jaaskelainen is good enough as back up at this level.
