Have I missed something? Like is there already a topic on this?

I have heard a tiny grape vine rumour that Jack Wilshere could be out on loan to us soon.

I can see why we would be a good match for him. Guaranteed game time.
Our best midfielder injured.
He has been before.
He would be top of the table.
And Arsenal owe us a player since they stole Holding.
So?

Just checked and this must be bull as the window has closed. But would it ever have been something that might have come off?

Yes, I'm sure both Arsene Wenger and England midfielder Jack Wilshere would think third division Bolton would be the right move for his career at this stage.

How could it possibly not happen?

(Worst wumming attempt ever!)

Very Happy

Window hasn't closed its tomorrow but the chances of Wilshere coming to play in L1 are about the same as Bread supporting Brexit.

It wasn't a wum. Wilshere played 3 games for Arsenal last year. He needs games to impress Big Sam. If I were Wilshere I would do 3 months or so at Bolton.

Wilshere, who has two years left on his current contract, wants to move to get regular football after being axed from the England squad. Arsenal want his 80k per week salary covering however.

Looks like either Barcelona or Bolton. Or Palace.

As he's played for Bolton that also qualifies him for Wigan

He'll end up with Bournemouth.

Its a shame because what we really need right now is another injury prone midfielder,

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

I love your optimism Biggie bit the lad can take his pick. If he decided to choose Bolton you would have to question his state of mind.

Wilshere's injury record is so bad perhaps Bolton would be a perfect fit. Sit in the treatment room all season, does remind me of someone...

Except the £80,000pw wages, of course.
