Jay Spearing has won the PFA Fans' League One Player of the Month award for August and September.
Almost 8,000 votes were cast in the poll, which was held on the Sky Sports website and apps, with the midfielder securing victory with 2,997 votes.
Figuring prominently throughout the opening weeks of the campaign, Spearing took on the captain's armband in the absence of the injured Darren Pratley as he made ten appearances and scored two goals.
And his performances ensured he caught the eye of supporters to win the vote, seeing off competition from Port Vale's Alex Jones, Scunthorpe United's Josh Morris, Bristol Rovers' Matty Taylor, Fleetwood Town's David Ball and Millwall's Steve Morison.
