Ben Amos completed the full 90 minutes for Cardiff as they beat ten-man Nottingham Forest at The City Ground on Saturday.
The Bluebirds had taken the lead in the clash through Aron Gunnarsson in the 28th minute before Joe Ralls doubled their advantage before half-time.
The hosts were then reduced to ten following the dismissal of Thomas Lam and although Henri Lansbury halved the deficit from the penalty spot in stoppage time, City held out for the victory.
The result lifted Cardiff to 20th in the Sky Bet Championship league table, just a place below their opponents.
