Don't worry Bonce, unless you've taken up terrorism, or surfing the net for kiddy porn, you'll be fine.
I'm more concerned with how much access FB, Google, and that lot have to my information, or web habits, as they can use whatever info they get in any way they want.

If you've got nothing to hide this won't impact on your life at all.
I'm always amazed people moan about the idea of an ID card, it would cut crime in this country overnight.

Depends on how the data is used. They already use browsing data in a commercial way to write user profile algorithms and then target people with advertising and content. If agencies use browsing algorithms to profile "subversive behaviour" practically anyone could be branded a terrorist or a murderer just by watching the news, by being hacked or by accidentally clicking a bad link. Plus algorithms can't differentiate between interest and intent.Natasha Whittam wrote:If you've got nothing to hide this won't impact on your life at all.
To me this has similar moral implications as say insurance companies collating genetic data.

People don't care anymore, that's why.
The majority of people under the age of thirty appear perfectly happy to publish their most intimate details all over the web because "that's what you do" nowadays.
And they genuinely can't see the risks.
Your avi's spot on.
We need a complete rethink as a species.

It may come as a shock to you all but my willy isn't actually all that impressive.
Distinctly average in fact.
The "huge willy" comment was a lie.
My spuds on the other hand........

Why would you lie on the internet?

That's what it's for, isn't it?
Watching porn, buying stuff you don't need off Ebay (whilst drunk), arguing about football and stuff, watching more porn and telling outrageous lies to strangers.
What else is there?

I don't know what I would do without porn.
It's like cheating on the Mrs but guilt free.
