I like Gram Parsons.
His real name was Ingram Cecil Connor III. Probably wise to go with Gram.

Yes, one of those rare genuine talents that are in the correct job for their talents. Im thinking Jimmy Page got some of his costumes from Gram Parsons Nudie Suits. The Poppy ones for example. Which he is wearing one of them here, Gram took Nudie Suits a bit further, and was considered absolutely outrageous ( which he was )

I like this song, from Gram Parsons Girfriend, Emmylou Harris, which was posthumously written about Gram.
" recounts her feelings of grief in the years following the death of country rock star and mentor Gram Parsons "

Some great stuff posted on here today. Especially Gram, The Burrito's and the wonderful Sprouts.

The Prefab Sprout song is interesting. I havent really listened to them before, it has a great rhythm, and authentic. Perhaps Jazz-like.

This shouldn't work......but it really does! Look at the expressions on the faces of the Led Zep band members in the audience to see how they are loving it. Great production!

Aye, Ive seen this vid a few times. The guitarist is definately better looking than the original, and so are the others.
A profound and poetical song.

Always said you were a youthquaker, Edie
A stormy little world shaker
Oh, Warhol's darling queen, Edie
An angel with a broken wing
The dogs lay at your feet, Edie
Oh, we caressed you cheek
Oh, stars wrapped in your hair, Edie
Life without a care
But your not there
Oh, caught up in an endless scene
Yeah, paradise a shattered dream
Oh, wired on the pills you took, Edie
Your innocence dripped blood, sweet child
The dogs lay at your feet, Edie
Oh, we caressed your cheek
Oh, stars wrapped in your hair
Oh, life without a care
Ciao baby
Shake it, boy
Oh, sweet little sugar talker
Paradise dream stealer
Oh, Warhol`s little Queen, Edie
An angel with a broken wing
The dogs lay at your feet, Edie
We carressed your cheek, well
Stars wrapped in your hair
Life without a care
Why did you kiss the world goodbye
Ciao, Baby!
Don't you know paradise takes time
Ciao, Edie!

I recognise that lady from the other band. Also really like the Violin. The Violin is a wonderful instrument.

One of my musical heroes has gone all electronic on his new album, this is great!
