Wanderers' youngsters picked up maximum points at home to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
The Whites started brightly with some excellent attacking football and superb patterns of play and were rewarded as Dennis Politic received the ball before running at the Railwaymen's defence and finishing from outside the box.
Their lead was then doubled following a good move down the right, with Matthew Fearnley's shot deflecting into the back of the net.
Just before half time however, a penalty conceded by Bolton saw The Alex pull one back and shortly after the restart, the visitors were level.
Not to be deterred however, Wanderers reacted well and pushed for a winner which came from a Luca Navarro corner to earn all three points for Nicky Spooner's side.
Bolton: Aspinall, Grant, White, Jones-Griffiths, Brockbank, Grivosti, Politic, Earing, Samizadeh, Fearnley, Navarro
Subs: Lonsdale, Everest, Abdo, Broughton, Connell
